In the thirty plus years I've spent as a professional illustrator and cartoonist I've run into numerous people who've often stated how they had wished they had kept up with their art studies and not given them up. That's a sad thing to hear because it shows that they let someone else or something else get in the way of their creative thrust. It's like listening to the spectres of the past moaning in the howling wind of some graveyard of broken dreams.
